Self-Storage Marketing Firm The Storage Group Hires Strategic Sales Consultant

The Storage Group (TSG), a marketing and technology company serving the self-storage industry, has hired Christina Powell as strategic sales consultant. In this role, she’ll lead the company’s overall sales strategy and specific initiatives, according to a press release.

“We’re excited to bring Christina on board,” said Steve Lucas, CEO and managing partner. “It’s an exciting time for us, considering the growth of our company during the pandemic and the widespread adoption of contactless storage technologies.”

Powell has more than 10 years of self-storage industry experience. In her career, she’s served as an executive director of business development in third-party management as well as a national sales associate in digital marketing. She’s also led her own event-photography business for 13 years, the release stated.

“The real importance of any partnership is sharing stories, learning about the overall business success, and listening to critical challenges,” Powell said. “I think I’m in a really unique position here at The Storage Group. Driving organizational and [return on investment] growth to clients excites me. I am honored to work alongside The Storage Group. Based in Altamonte Springs, Fla., TSG provides online tools and marketing solutions including local-listing management, mobile websites, online rentals, pay-per-click advertising, search engine optimization, social media marketing, and software and website development.
