ALGLO Corp., a manufacturer of LED drivers and controllers, has released a low-voltage, DC-based, LED-lighting interconnect system for self-storage and pre-fab buildings. The POP Switch can be installed in existing structures and new construction projects to solve previously challenging lighting applications or solve problems posed by traditional systems, according to a press release.
For use in self-storage facilities, the system is designed to reduce electric bills and eliminate tenants plugging in light-socket adapters and running appliances or tools within the their storage units, according to the source. The system also connects to solar-power sources.
For pre-fab buildings, such as sheds, outbuildings and tiny homes, the system is designed to be a simple and affordable way to light smaller spaces. The product can be hooked to a solar panel, battery or generator. The technology used in the POP Switch can produce more than 400 lumens, the source reported.
Headquartered in Austin, Texas, ALGLO has a manufacturing facility in Reno, Nev. The company makes LED products designed for energy and lighting efficiency.
