Southeast Management Co. (SEM), a self-storage management and consulting company that also owns and operates facilities in the Southeast, has hired Susan Head as director of sales. In her new role, she’ll be responsible for expanding the company’s portfolio, according to a press release.

Head has more than 20 years of experience in outside sales in Canada and the United States. She began her career in the self-storage industry 12 years ago as vice president of sales for a facility-management company. She later transitioned to vice president of operations, sales and marketing, overseeing multiple East Coast properties.

According to the release, Head is “excited to be on board and looking forward to expanding existing and new relationships.”

Established in 2009, SEM is based in Kilmarnock, Va., with a regional office in North Carolina. The company manages and owns self-storage facilities in the Carolinas and Florida.
