Formerly Proprietary Storage360 Management Platform to Be Offered to All Self-Storage Operators

Cloud-based management-software platform Storage360, a proprietary product originally created for Store Space Self Storage, will soon be available to all industry operators, with a full-scale release planned for the third quarter. The technology is designed to help users improve revenue, reduce expenses and manage their business more effectively, according to a press release. Functionality includes access control, accounting, analytics, customer service, marketing, pricing, revenue management and sales.

Storage360 was developed with a flexible, modular design that can be scaled as owners and investors grow their self-storage portfolio. Each component can be used individually or to complement an existing product stack, the release stated. Store Space, which operates more than 100 facilities across 22 states, has been using the product for several years to run its own facilities as well as those it manages on behalf of others.

“The Storage360 platform will level the playing field for self-storage owners, operators and investors, and bring them an end-to-end platform with comprehensive data to grow their business,” said Storage360 President Stephen Sandecki, who was part of the original development team. “I’ve spent time with multiple large storage operators and saw that there was a huge gap in the ability to be competitive between those who have access to enterprise-level technology and those who don’t. That was the inspiration for how we’re building Storage360.”

Sandecki, who’ll lead the Storage360 business, has held executive and senior-level positions at several self-storage operations including real estate investment trusts Life Storage Inc. and National Storage Affiliates Trust. He was most recently chief marketing officer for Store Space.

Cameron Urry, senior vice president of product and marketing for Storage360, will oversee product development, marketing and customer acquisition. With 20 years of digital-marketing experience, he’s been in the self-storage industry for 15 years including roles with Extra Space Storage Inc. and Simply Self Storage. He was most recently a vice president with OpenTech Alliance Inc., a Phoenix-based provider of kiosks, call-center services and other industry technology.

Storage360 is based in Greenwood Village, Colorado.
