The White House has extended its social-distancing mandate to April 30 in an attempt to slow the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in the United States. While it’s a necessary precaution to prevent infection, the resulting isolation can be difficult for people to embrace. Self-storage operators who’ve managed to stay open during the outbreak find themselves with little to do as their offices are closed to customers, and collections and lien sales are halted.
