SmartStop Self Storage REIT Hires Social Media Manager

SmartStop Self Storage REIT Inc., which operates 144 properties in 19 U.S. states and Toronto, has hired a Sara Ehlers as social media manager, responsible for managing and enhancing all aspects of the company’s social channels. Her responsibilities include producing content for key audiences, driving customer engagement and continuously promoting the brand, according to a press release.

“We are privileged to have Sara join our marketing team, where her extensive experience in other customer facing industries will dramatically elevate our social media engagement,” said CEO Michael McClure. “Sara's knowledge of the social media space and her experience with a variety of engagement strategies will allow her to hit the ground running and have an immediate, positive impact on customer interactions across our social platforms.”

With nearly a decade of strategic-marketing experience, Ehlers most recently served as marketing manager for clothing brand Allen Schwartz. She earned a bachelor's degree from California State University, Long Beach.

SmartStop is a self-managed real estate investment trust.
