Inside Self-Storage (ISS) has released a new podcast as part of its “Sounds of Storage” series that aims to help facility operators elevate the customer experience during the coronavirus pandemic. The 12-minute interview with Stacie Maxwell, vice president of marketing and training for Universal Storage Group (USG), explores ways to improve service to new and existing tenants. Maxwell shares strategies her company is using and provides pointers to help owners and supervisors better support staff.
Maxwell has served in a variety of roles since joining USG in 2001. In her present position, she oversees the branding, design and marketing programs for the company and its properties as well as its multi-phase training programs.
USG offers third-party management, comprehensive training programs, and start-up or conversion services including facility design, feasibility studies and brand development. The company owns six facilities and manages more than 70 for other owners.
