Firefighter Injured in Spring, TX, Self-Storage Fire

A firefighter suffered minor injuries on Sunday morning while battling a fire at a Spring Stuebner Storage in Spring, Texas. He was treated and released the same day, according to sources.

Crews responded to the two-alarm fire at 5826 Spring Steubner Road just after 1 a.m. The blaze consumed multiple storage units that were housing boats and RVs. Investigators believe flammable materials in those spaces helped the fire spread rapidly. Firefighters were able to keep the inferno from reaching other buildings.

No other injuries were reported. The cause of the incident is under investigation.
