Flying Peacock Family Trust has purchased A+ Storage, a 98-unit self-storage facility in Bend, Ore., from VSV LLC. The facility was built in 2004 and is located at 345 S.E. Cleveland Ave.
Brokers Jay Lyons, Darren Powderly and Erich Schultz of Compass Commercial Real Estate Services represented VSV in the transaction. The buyer was represented by broker Erika Morris of Morris Hayden Property Management.
This was a unique transaction, as the sellers came to own the property through an inheritance, Schultz said. They live out of the area and were hands-off in the operation of the business, which led to some gaps in the availability of historical informationinformation that a buyer would typically require.
Based in Bend, Ore., Compass Commercial offers services in sales and leasing, tenant and buyer representation, asset and property management, and development services.
