Toy Storage Nation (TSN), an organization providing education on all aspects of the boat- and RV-storage business, has launched “TSN Conversations Unplugged,” a podcast for facility developers and operators. Hosted by TSN President Amy Bix, each episode includes a discussion with professionals on critical industry topics, according to a press release.

“I get so many good questions from people who read content on our website and from attendees of our TSN Workshops that it seemed like a podcast would leave an indelible mark on our audience,” Bix said. “There are hundreds of folks in the U.S. trying to absorb as much information possible in the quickest, easiest way possible to capitalize on ‘toy’ storage. We make sure to pack in the highest-quality content and advice so viewer-listeners can make smart decisions for themselves as well as the industry as a whole.”

In the premiere episode, “Considering RV & Boat Storage: Where to Start?,” Bix interviewed Greg Ellsworth, founder and president of Self Storage Consulting Group; Chris Koenig, managing member of Kingsland Companies LLC; and JoBeth White, owner of Development Services Inc. They discussed feasibility, financing, site selection, unit mix, zoning and more. They also shared personal stories about challenges they’ve encountered and offered their advice.

The podcast is available for free listening on the TSN website.

Founded in 2020, TSN provides boat/RV-storage developers, operators and investors with resources and networking opportunities. It also offers a website and an awards program that recognizes excellence in the design and management of boat/RV-storage facilities nationwide. The company will host a full-day Boat/RV-Storage Workshop at the upcoming Inside Self-Storage World Expo in Las Vegas, April 2-5. The event is the largest conference and tradeshow to take place annually in the self-storage sector.
