Update 3/12/14 - Jeremy Daniel Webster, 31, remains in police custody and faces charges of attempted murder after allegedly stabbing his co-worker outside their shared unit at Super Self Storage in Salmon Arm, British Columbia, Canada.

Webster appeared in court on Monday and is scheduled to appear again on March 13, according to the source.

The unidentified 34-year-old male victim was taken by ambulance to the Salmon Arm Airport, where he was airlifted to Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops. He was transported to the airport first because the helicopter could not find a safe place to land at the self-storage facility, according to the source.

Although the man’s wounds were serious, he is expected to survive, authorities said.

3/10/14 - A tenant at Super Self Storage in Salmon Arm, British Columbia, Canada, was in critical condition last week after allegedly being stabbed by a co-worker outside his unit. The 34-year-old male victim was airlifted to a nearby hospital and is expected to survive, according to news reports.

A 32-year-old male suspect was arrested at the self-storage facility and remains in police custody, according to the Salmon Arm Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). "Police believe mental health issues are a factor in this incident," said Staff Sgt. Kevin Keane of the RCMP.

Earlier news reports misidentified the victim and suspect as employees of the self-storage business. Facility manager Tim Anderson confirmed the victim is a tenant. Neither the victim nor the suspect were named in news reports.

The Salmon Arm facility has been serving the local area since 2004. Super Self Storage also has a facility in Abbotsford, British Columbia.
