Self-Storage Technology Provider OpenTech Agrees to Acquire Digital-Marketing Firm Adigma

OpenTech Alliance Inc., a Phoenix-based provider of self-storage kiosks, call-center services and other technology, has agreed to acquire Adigma LLC, a digital-marketing and technology company. Based in Lehi, Utah, Adigma specializes in using data to understand consumer behavior and curate marketing content. The transaction is expected to close within 45 days, according to a press release.

Adigma offers a full range of services including account-based and multi-location marketing, ad delivery, content marketing, direct-response and creative services, email marketing, search engine optimization, and web analytics, the release stated.

“The Adigma team has intimate knowledge of the self-storage industry and extensive marketing expertise, a combination that has enabled them to develop some truly groundbreaking customer-acquisition and revenue-management technology,” said Robert A. Chiti, CEO of OpenTech.

The two companies first worked together to accelerate the growth of StorageTreasures.com, OpenTech’s online-auction platform. “As our partnership with the team at OpenTech evolved, we quickly realized how well our company cultures and values aligned,” said Gabe Thayn, co-founder and CEO at Adigma. “Together, we are perfectly positioned to help operators diversify and improve their new customer-acquisition processes and drive more value from their current customers.”

OpenTech specializes in smart-connected technology solutions. It provides several models of Insomniac self-serve kiosks as well as a range of self-storage rental solutions including the Insomniac Live! Call Center, Insomniac Online Web and mobile applications, LiveAgent! software products, and the Insomniac ILock Security System, all available through the company's self-storage cloud.
