Self-Storage Insurance Provider Storsmart Insurance Co. Names New Partner

Storsmart Insurance Co., a provider of tenant insurance for the self-storage industry, has promoted Damon Emerson to the position of partner. Since joining the company in 2011, Emerson has made significant contributions to sales growth and the overall market presence of the Storsmart Tenant Insurance Program, according to a company press release. As regional sales manager, he established a strong company presence in the northeast and mid-Atlantic states.

Emerson is considered a trusted advisor, friend and knowledgeable confidant among his peers, the release stated. He’s one of the most recognized personalities in the industry and has served on many volunteer boards and committees.

Storsmart Insurance is offered through Property First Group Insurance Agency, a provider of insurance coverages for the self-storage industry. The program was developed from more than 40 years of experience in self-storage operations and insurance.
