Tenant Inc. Releases One-Time Payment Link Feature for Hummingbird Self-Storage Software

Tenant Inc., a provider of property-management software and other technology for self-storage and other types of real estate, has released a one-time payment-link feature for its Hummingbird facility-management software. The new functionality allows self-storage customers to complete online payments without having to log in or navigate levels of authentication, according to a press release.

The process now takes four clicks: one to follow the link from the user’s text or email, a second to autofill the billing address from their browser, a third to autofill credit card information, and a fourth to complete the payment. Links can be sent on demand via text and email from the “Hummingbird Communication Center.” In addition, operators are able to track and obtain reporting on customer payments.

"Making payments should be the easiest thing your tenant does," said Justin Paquin, head of platform product. "One-time payment link is the first of a few innovations we have coming in the next four months."
