Storage Authority Hires Director of Operations

Storage Authority LLC, which operates self-storage facilities in two states and offers franchise opportunities, has appointed Drew Case as director of operations, sales and marketing. He has more than 30 years of industry experience in acquisitions, development and management, according to a press release.

Case spent most of his career working for U-Haul International Inc., where he started as an assistant manager before working his way up as a general manager, area field manager, certified manager trainer and eventually a regional president, the release stated. He has experience in sourcing land for self-storage acquisitions and development in addition to opening new sites and running operations.

“Drew’s 30 years of experience at U-Haul and self-storage consulting brings incredible value to our franchisees,” said Marc Goodin, CEO of Storage Authority.

“Whether it’s new development, operations, or sales and marketing, I look forward to working with our franchise owners,” Case said. “I really enjoy working with people to help them find success.”

Based in Sarasota, Florida, Storage Authority was co-founded by Goodin and Scott House. Its franchise model offers existing self-storage owners and those looking to enter the industry the chance to build a business under the brand’s operational framework. The company also offers consulting services and facility-manager training. It operates two self-storage facilities in Connecticut and one in New Jersey, with projects underway in 10 other states, according to its website.
