Self-Storage Talk Video Challenge Second-Place Winner: Scott Simon, A1 U Store It

Scott Simon, a resident manager at A1 U Store It in St. Louis, recently won second place in the Self-Storage Talk 2015 “Loving Las Vegas” Video Challenge, in which self-storage operators vied for a free trip to the Inside Self-Storage World Expo in Las Vegas. In this video, Scott and guests discuss why he is deserving of a trip to the expo. He also talks about his proximity to the violence that occurred in Ferguson, Mo., and highlights specific education sessions he plans to attend to help him improve his effectiveness as a manager.

The “Loving Las Vegas” video challenge asked facility managers and owners to submit a one- to three-minute video in which they attempted to convince contest judges why they should be sent to the expo. The second-place prize includes a Total Self-Storage Solutions 2015: Education 45-Pack from the ISS Store.
