Self-Storage Supplier Janus Appoints Vice Chairman of Board of Directors

Janus International Group, a global manufacturer and supplier of building solutions and access-control technology for the self-storage industry, has appointed Roger Fradin as vice chairman of its board of directors. He’s served as a director for the company since 2021, according to a press release.

Fradin has more than 40 years of experience in real estate acquisitions and development and has led a diverse set of industrial-technology businesses, the release stated. He served as CEO and president of Honeywell Automation and Control Solutions, and oversaw the security and fire-solutions division for Pittway Corp. He was also vice chairman at Honeywell International Inc.

Fradin is currently chairman of Resideo Technologies Inc. He’s also a board member for L3Harris Technologies Inc. and Vertiv Group Corp. He formerly served on the boards for GS Acquisition Holdings Corp. and Pitney Bowes Inc. Fradin earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Headquartered in Temple, Georgia, and founded in 2002, Janus is a global manufacturer and supplier of turnkey commercial, industrial and self-storage building solutions including roll-up and swing doors, hallway systems, relocatable storage units, and facility- and door-automation technologies.
