Keylock Storage, a self-storage operator with eight facilities in the Pacific Northwest, recently purchased its second facility in the Boise, Idaho, area. The company also announced plans to double the size of its location in Nampa, Idaho, and develop a new facility in Meridian, Idaho, later this year.
The newest facility is off of Caldwell Boulevard in Caldwell, Idaho, and features video cameras, drive-up access, boat and RV storage, and an RV dump station. The site offers online bill pay and 24-hour access. Expansion plans include the addition of climate control, company officials said in a press release.
Keylock also plans to expand its Nampa facility by doubling the number of storage units to nearly 600. The project is scheduled for the spring, according to the release.
“We are thrilled to be expanding further in the Boise, Idaho, area and the Northwest,” said Ron Osborne, owner and founder. “The Caldwell Keylock Storage is located in a great position, right along a major boulevard between Caldwell and Nampa. Keylock is proud to offer an outstanding self-storage experience in the area.”
Finally, Keylock intends to develop a new storage facility in Meridian, Idaho, this year. The project will comprise 509 units, including climate control. The property is in a busy area of the city, officials said.
Keylock Storage facilities are owned and operated by Keylock Storage Holdings, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bitterroot Holdings LLC. The company opened its first facility in 2003 and has self-storage properties in Idaho, Oregon and Washington.
