Eva-Dry E-750 Compact Dehumidifier***Eva-Dry, a national brand of compact dehumidification products, has launched a disposable moisture-trap system suitable for portable- and self-storage units. The E-750 can be hung in any confined space to absorb excess moisture from the air. The product features corrugated cartons with built-in moisture pockets and is packaged in recyclable Tyvek.

Retail consumers will utilize this product throughout the home in areas up to 750 cubic feet, such as medium-sized closets, basement storage and laundry areas; externally in lifestyle uses such as recreational vehicles, boat cabins as well as light and heavy duty truck cabs, said James Wetzel, president of Eva-Dry North America. In addition, the E-750 is perfect for moisture absorption in humid portable-storage units.

The system absorbs moisture up to 200 percent of its own weight and lasts up to 45 days, company officials said. When the moisture pockets solidify and become firm, its time to discard the unit and replace it with another. Units have a shelf life of 18 months from their production date, as long as the poly wrap on the cartons remains unbroken and the product is stored in a clean, dry environment, according to Eva-Dry.

Headquartered in Tampa, Fla., Eva-Dry provides renewable compact dehumidifiers to customers in a variety of retail industries. It offers bi-lingual packaged products to consumers through various online and traditional retail sales channels.
