Sierra Self Storage in Madera, Calif., recently sold for $950,000 to private investors. The property will be re-branded Madera Self Storage.

Located at 16390 Golden State Blvd., the facility has 266 self-storage units, and outside RV- and boat-storage spaces. The facility is a first-generation single-story property on Highway 99 with development potential. At the time of sale, the property was 80 percent occupied. The buyers plan to make improvements to the property and launch new marketing.

Carl Touhey of Performance Self Storage Inc. handled the transaction. The property had been on the market in the previous year with multiple brokerage firms, but no successful sale.
