Hong Kong self-storage operator One Storage Management Co. Ltd. has launched a mobile application that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to help customers find facility locations and manage their accounts, including the ability to make online payments. The app “incorporates a big-data infrastructure” that’ll also benefit employees, according to a press release.

The launch is part of the company’s post-pandemic approach to enhancing the customer experience. “Reflecting One Storage’s commitment to staying abreast of market trends and consumption patterns, it has noted an increased emphasis on digital accessibility, safety and convenience in mini-storage rentals since the pandemic,” company officials said.

Other measures One Storage has introduced include instant-use, discount cash vouchers and a range of payment options, such as check, credit card, electronic-payment standard (EPS), faster-payment system (FPS) and WeChat, the release stated.

One Storage is a subsidiary of Soundwill Holding Ltd. It operates 27 self-storage facilities under various brand names in Hong Kong, Kowloon and the New Territories.
