Self-Storage Firm IREGC Announces New Hires and Promotions for October 2023

Update 10/16/23 – IREGC announced additional staff changes, including one new hire and two promotions.
Justine Kahley was hired as staff accountant, responsible for enforcing financial procedures, reports and compliance. “Justine is a wonderful addition to our accounting team. Her positive attitude, accuracy and attention to detail will be an asset in the fast-paced self-storage industry,” said Brandy Meyer, controller.
Kyle Eichelberger, who’s been with the company since 2020, was promoted to accounting manager from his previous role as senior staff accountant. He’ll oversee the accounting department, including accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger.
Alicia Vasquez, who was hired as a staff accountant just last year, was promoted to senior staff accountant. She’ll be training new employees in her department and completing special projects.
“Kyle and Alicia are two hard-working and well-deserving team members,” said Brandy Meyer, controller. “We are so fortunate to have them take on these new roles and lead our accounting department to great success.”
10/4/23 – The Investment Real Estate Group of Companies (IREGC), which specializes in self-storage construction and management and operates the Moove In Self Storage brand, has hired Virginia “Ginny” Thress as human resources manager. In her role, she’ll oversee regulatory compliance along with payroll and the employee-benefits programs, according to a press release.
Thress earned her bachelor’s degree and an MBA from Alvernia University, where she now teaches as an adjunct professor. She began her career in human resources as a coordinator for a variety of companies. She’s certified by the Society for Human Resources Management and the Human Resources Certification Institute.
