MakoRabco, a nationwide supplier of buildings and construction-related services for the self-storage and boat/RV-storage industries, has promoted Cody Lopez to the position of regional sales manager for the Southwest. He’s been a project manager for the company for four years, according to a press release.
Lopez earned a degree from Greenville University in Greenville, Illinois, and an MBA from Ashford University in Chandler, Arizona. He entered the construction industry in 2017 as a project manager, then joined MakoRabco in 2019. During this time, he’s assisted in the development of many self-storage facilities nationwide, the release stated.
“My construction-management experiences over the past six years have prepared me to work alongside our developer partners to help their plans become reality. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and experience with our clients,” Lopez said. “The mentorship I received from Mako’s founders and our current executive-leadership team has given me a deep appreciation for our clients and their needs. I’m honored to continue in their legacy of a focused approach to relationships, providing high-quality customer service, and executing on our vision of being the best metal-building option for the storage industry.”
MakoRabco specializes in building design, supply and installation. The company formed in March 2022 when Mako Steel Inc., founded in 1993, and Rabco Enterprises, founded in 1988, joined forces. It now operates from offices in Carlsbad, California, and Winter Garden, Florida.
