Partner Valuation Advisors, which provides real estate valuations for self-storage and other types of property, has hired P. Ryan McDonald as a managing director. McDonald will serve as market lead in St. Louis as well as “national practice lead” for self-storage, according to the source.

McDonald has experience in managing national accounts and has been involved in portfolio origination and management. He has valuation connections with financial institutions, hedge funds, insurance companies, pension funds and real estate investment trusts, the source reported.

“Ryan is the top valuation professional in the St. Louis market, and his reach extends across the Midwest and nationally,” said Eric Enloe, senior managing director for Partner.

McDonald most recently served as managing director for JLL’s Valuation Advisory platform in St. Louis, leading its Midwest team and national self-storage practice. He also once served as senior managing director in the St. Louis office for Integra Realty Resources, according to the source.

Headquartered in Chicago, Partner has several regional offices. It offers valuation, financial-reporting and market-study services for several property types including healthcare, industrial, multi-family, manufactured housing, office, retail, self-storage and senior housing.
