Lock+Store, which operates 13 self-storage facilities in Malaysia and Singapore, has launched a charitable initiative to support Causes for Animals, an animal-welfare organization in Singapore. To raise money for the organization, the operator will sell limited-edition, foldable, cotton tote bags featuring Singapore special dog Charlie, one of the many beneficiaries of the charity’s efforts, according to a press release.

The $10 bags will be available during office hours, Dec. 6 to 22, at Lock+Store facilities in Ayer Rajah, Chai Chee and Tanjong Pagar. All proceeds will benefit shelter animals like Charlie, who has already been adopted.

The campaign is part of Lock+Store’s goal to support local causes. Last month, the company sponsored kennel space for Gimmy, an 11-year-old mixed-breed dog also rescued by Causes, the release stated.

Lock+Store is a subsidiary of General Storage Co., which is also the parent company of The Store House self-storage brand in Hong Kong. The organization also provides warehousing, rental offices and postal services.
