ISS News Desk: Self-Storage Tops Bloomberg List of Best Alternative Investments

Self-storage topped “Bloomberg Markets” magazine’s second-annual ranking of the best alternative investments, and three of the top five real estate investment trusts (REITs) identified in the 141-company Bloomberg REIT Index between 2011 and 2014 are self-storage operators. Extra Space Storage Inc. was the top-performing REIT on the list for the three-year period.
