Body of Woman Found in Wilmington, NC, Self-Storage Unit

Update 5/30/23 – Police believe that Webb, who was found dead inside a unit at SecurCare Self Storage in Wilmington, North Carolina, earlier this month, was living in the space. Investigators said it is possible to make it appear as though a unit is locked even when it isn’t, and that it can be done from inside the space.

Police reiterated that they don’t expect foul play or suicide. An autopsy is scheduled for this week.

5/23/23 –The body of a woman was discovered last week inside a unit at a self-storage facility in Wilmington, North Carolina. Investigators don’t suspect foul play, according to sources.
