Australian Mobile Self-Storage Provider Taxibox Expands Footprint With 2 New Locations

Taxibox, an Australian provider of mobile self-storage, has expanded its service area with the opening of two new facilities. One is in Adelaide, South Australia, while the other is in Perth, Western Australia. The company has doubled the size of its operation in the last three years and now operates 11 locations around the country, according to a press release.

“We’re thrilled to be servicing new markets in Adelaide and Perth,” said Simon Robinson, general manager of operations. “Since we began operations over a decade ago, customers have been asking when Taxibox would be launching in new regions for years now. We’re excited to finally be able to provide solutions to these customers and, in truth, it’s long overdue.”

“While we’re celebrating reaching our national expansion goal as a business, we’re still eagerly pushing toward more long-term goals we have in the works,” said CEO and cofounder Ben Cohn. “Being a nationwide mobile-storage company has set Taxibox apart from our competitors; providing us greater flexibility in designing strategy that offers exciting new services to a larger audience.”

Founded in 2010, Taxibox operates in Adelaide, Brisbane, Geelong, Gold Coast, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. It’s also experimenting with international delivery options, and testing new types of services for its customers, the release stated.
