Australia Marketing Firm R6 Digital Releases StorApp for US Self-Storage Operators

R6 Digital, an Australia-based marketing firm that specializes in self-storage, has released its customizable StorApp mobile application in the United States. The white-label product allows self-storage operators to offer their tenants a mobile app that can be used for gate and unit access as well as account management, according to a press release.

The platform is designed to integrate with several management-software and gate-access systems. It must be used in conjunction with the R6 RapidStor online move-in system. Self-storage businesses can customize StorApp with their own branding and color schemes, the release stated.

After renting a unit, tenants can use the app to find access codes, use a site map and directions to locate their space, set up automatic payments, add personal information to their account, and more. ID verification is also possible through the app, according to the release.

StoreApp has been in use at more than 100 self-storage facilities across Australia, Asia and Europe, company officials said.

R6 specializes in self-storage marketing, website design and custom software development. It launched RapidStor in 2008.
