Two people have been arrested in connection with burglaries committed earlier this month at a Pittsburg, Kan., self-storage facility. The break-ins at Westside Mini Storage occurred on Jan. 4 and Jan. 13, according to the source.

Surveillance video from the second theft showed a man and woman breaking into a storage unit at 405 N. Georgia St. and attempting to steal a vehicle. The video helped investigators identify the suspects, the source reported.

Police arrested Fredrick J. Foshag, 48, and Heidi M. Masters, 48, on Jan. 17 at a residence on South Chestnut Street. The pair allegedly admitted they committed the storage-unit burglaries. Foshag also confessed to break-ins at two residences on West Martin Street on Nov. 26 and Jan. 15, and the theft of a motorcycle last week from an address on South Chestnut Street.

Foshag faces several burglary charges as well as misdemeanor counts of theft, criminal damage and possession of drug paraphernalia. He’s being held without bond pending an initial court appearance. Masters also faces multiple burglary and drug charges. She’s being held on a $5,000 bond.
