December 14, 2021
Police arrested three men last week in connection with a string of burglaries that took place at Glynn County, Georgia, self-storage facilities. More than 100 stolen items have been recovered, according to the source.
While driving by Storage by the Sea on St. Simons Island on Dec. 7, officers noticed several items sitting outside the storage units. As they approached, they spotted a man running from the property, but were able to catch and arrest him. Upon viewing the facility’s surveillance footage, they saw that two other individuals had been on the site earlier that night. Investigators later identified all three men as suspects in break-ins that occurred at other self-storage businesses in the area.
Brevin Barrios, 25; Cameron McDonald, 25; and Richard Wolfe, 35, face multiple felony burglary charges.
Storage by the Sea operates one location in Brunswick and two on St. Simons Island. The facilities offer traditional storage, vehicle storage and shipping services. The other compromised properties were not revealed by the source.
