3 Arrested for Burglary at Luper Self Storage in Carthage, TX

Three people were arrested last week in connection with a burglary at Luper Self Storage in Carthage, Texas. One of the suspects in the case rented a unit at 348 S. Shelby St., according to the source.

Daniel Jones, a detective with the Carthage Police Department, executed a warrant to search the suspect’s unit. Property that had been reported missing from other tenants at the self-storage facility was found inside, the source stated.

Haley Dean, 24, Chad Gibson, 30, and Germaine Trusley, 32, were charged with burglary of a building. Bond was set at $15,000 for Gibson and Trusley, who were released from jail on July 13 and July 11, respectively. Dean was released on July 10 on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond.
