Mike Erdman Motors Inc., a Merritt Island, Fla.-based auto-dealership group, is developing a self-storage facility in Rockledge, Fla. M.H. Williams Construction Group Inc., based in Melbourne, Fla., will serve as contractor. No expected timeline for the project was announced.

Central and South Florida have seen several self-storage developments launched or proposed in recent months. No indication was given about whether the Mike Erdman Motors project would include an auto-dealership component.

The company operates Cadillac, Nissan and Toyota dealerships in Merritt Island.
