A man in Doraville, Ga., told a local news station rats destroyed some of the items he stored in a unit at Uncle Bobs Storage on Tilly Mill Road.
Lawrence McClenton told CBS Atlanta News he found rat excrement in the unit, scratches on a leather sofa and holes in a mattress. McClenton rented the storage unit about nine months ago.
A person from the news crew asked the facilitys management about the damage and if they plan to compensate McClenton. They did not respond. Its unclear if McClenton has insurance coverage. He told the news crew he wants the facilitys management to help him move his stuff out of the unit.
