Driver and Child Passenger Die After Crashing Into Red Oak, TX, Self-Storage Facility

A male driver and his passenger, a male child, died on Sunday when their car crashed into a Red Oak, Texas, self-storage facility and caught on fire. Adam David Lynch, 36, went off the roadway and crashed into a building at Spare Room Mini Warehouse, 2601 Ovilla Road, according to a source.

Lynch and the unnamed boy were trapped inside the burning car. The flames also spread to the storage structure, though no one was inside. The victims were pronounced dead at the scene by Justice of the Peace Dan Cox about an hour after the collision, the source reported.

No one else was injured, and the crash is under investigation.
