Belligerent Woman Arrested at Westside Mini Storage in Macon County, TN

A belligerent woman was arrested last week at a self-storage facility in Macon County, Tenn. The Macon County Sheriff’s Office received a report on Aug. 27 of a woman near a vehicle at Westside Mini Storage who appeared “unstable,” according to the source.

Wendy D. Mitchell, 36, was screaming and unable to communicate with officers. She also appeared to be under the influence of narcotics, authorities said. The storage owner also asked police to remove Mitchell’s vehicle from the property. Officers discovered 9.5 grams of methamphetamine, a digital scale, numerous small baggies and bladed brass knuckles inside the car.

Mitchell was charged with possession of a schedule II drug, public intoxication, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a schedule II drug for the purpose of resale. Her bond was set at $50,500, and she’s scheduled to appear in court this week. Two weeks before her arrest, Mitchell was released on bond for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, the source reported.
