Beara Group Inc., a New York City-based company specializing in moving services for businesses, has launched BearaBins.com as a valet-storage division serving all five boroughs of the city and Long Island. The offering provides an online platform through which business and residential customers can schedule an initial delivery of storage bins, item pickup for storage, and then return delivery of bins to their location when needed, according to a press release.

Pricing is $3.50 per small bin per month and $5 for larger bins. Oversized items, such as bikes, golf clubs and skis, are $12 per item per month. The standard length of stay is two weeks, according to the company website. The service also offers two packages designed for students to store items up to four months during summer break and up to one month during winter break.

Items are stored at a Beara Group storage facility. Customers can schedule the return of their items online but cannot retrieve them directly from storage. The return fee is $5 per bin or large item, up to a maximum charge of $25, the release stated.

"It's your other closet; easy and economical for everyone who lives in a NYC apartment or house," said Jimmy Lynch, president of Beara Group. "A moment on your tablet or mobile phone and you can order any one of your personal bins from storage. When you're done, we'll come pick it up and store it again."

New York City has seen the rise of several valet-storage businesses over the last three years. There are at least five other operators with service in the metropolitan area including Box Butler, Clutter, Handy, MakeSpace Labs Inc. and RedBin.

Beara Group was founded in 2004.
