Former Moose Lodge to Be Converted to Self-Storage in Redding, CA

Best Value Mini Storage received approval from the Board of Administrative Review on Feb. 3 to convert the former Loyal Order of Moose building in Redding, Calif., to self-storage. The operator purchased the site at 320 Lake Blvd. last year to expand its facility at No. 340 on the same road.

Best Value plans to add storage units to the existing structure and build 17,500 square feet of new storage space on the west side of the property, according to the source.

The Moose Lodge opened in the 1950s and was sold in 2014 to another company before Best Value purchased it.

Best Value offers drive-up, climate-controlled storage. Plans are underway to add vehicle storage, according to the facility website.
