Westy Self Storage Hosts Donation Drive for Haiti Earthquake Survivors
Westy Self Storage is hosting a donation drive to assist earthquake survivors in Haiti, using its Stamford, Conn., facility as a designated drop-off location for donations.

Westy Self Storage is hosting a donation drive to assist earthquake survivors in Haiti, using its Stamford, Conn., facility as a designated drop-off location for donations. In addition, Westy will provide temporary storage for the donations and deliver them to the Share Joy Foundation, which will coordinate distribution to Haiti. The organizations will be collecting clean blankets, clothes, flashlights, non-perishable food, towels and candles.
Share Joy, a non-profit organization based in Ridgefield, Conn., recycles donations from affluent communities for people in greater need.
Westy is open seven days a week. Hours of operation and directions can be found at Westy.com. Founded in 1990, the company has six facilities in Connecticut, three in New Jersey and seven in New York.
On Jan. 12, a 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck Haiti, costing the lives of an estimated 50,000 people to date. Tens of thousands of people were left homeless and in need of immediate aid and assistance.
