Storage Source One Self-Storage Donates to Help Recover Missing Tennessee Child

Storage Source One Self-Storage of Kingsport, Tenn., has donated $2,500 to aid in the recovery of 15-month-old Evelyn Boswell, who’s been missing from her home in Blountville, Tenn., for two months. The reward now stands at $56,000, according to a source.

Boswell was last seen on Dec. 10 or 11 by a babysitter. Her mother, Megan Boswell, didn’t report her missing. The child’s grandfather contacted police on Feb. 18, and an Amber Alert was issued the next day. Boswell told police she left her daughter with someone she trusted while she went to work but wouldn’t give police a name.

“Well, the reason I didn't report it or anything was I knew the person who had her, and I didn't want them to run away with her," she told CNN affiliate WCYB on Friday. “And as soon as they thought anything was going on, they just kinda vanished. So, I'm just kinda worried, you know, about where they are at. What they're doing with her at this point in time.”

Police have received more than 300 tips since issuing the Amber Alert. However, there are a number of “conflicting statements, in addition to the fact that Evelyn was not immediately reported missing makes it a complicated case,” a source reported.

Evelyn Boswell’s grandmother, Angela Boswell, 42, and William McCloud, 33, were arrested on Friday on fugitive warrants in North Carolina. They’re being charged with driving a stolen vehicle police previously believed was connected to the missing-child case.

Megan Boswell has full custody of the child. The child’s father, Ethan Perry is in the military and stationed in Louisiana. Megan Boswell and Perry aren’t married.

Anyone with information on the disappearance of Evelyn is asked to contact the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office or the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. The blond, blue-eyed child is 2 feet tall and was last seen wearing a pink tracksuit, pink shoes and a pink bow.

Storage Source One offers drive-up self-storage and vehicle storage. It serves the communities of Colonial Heights, Fall Branch, Kingsport and Rock Springs, Tenn.
