Self-Storage Operator 10 Federal Hosts Youth Tennis Tournament in Chapel Hill, NC

10 Federal Storage LLC, which operates more than 70 self-storage facilities in the Southeast, is hosting a youth tennis tournament on Nov. 4-5 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, to raise funds for the UNC Fitch Center for Pediatric Rehabilitation. The 10 Federal Fall Tennis Classic will be held at the Chapel Hill Tennis Club, according to a press release.

Organized by high-school juniors Caroline Bowman and Alexander Sevilla, the event is a U.S. Tennis Association (USTA) Level 6 Charity Tennis Tournament open to boys and girls ages 10 to 18. Awards will be given to winners and runners-up in each category. In addition, there’ll be a charity raffle. Registration is available through Oct. 25 on the USTA website. The entry fee is $50 per participant, and space is limited.

Last year’s inaugural competition raised more than $20,000. “Our goal for this year is to exceed last year's fundraising total, thereby giving the UNC Fitch Center an even greater ability to make a difference,” Bowman said.

The UNC Fitch Center offers rehabilitation services for children facing various conditions, from congenital disabilities to post-accident recovery. Proceeds from this year’s tournament will benefit the center's efforts to upgrade its facilities and expand its services.
