Atlantic Self Storage Partners With Farm Share to Fight Hunger in Florida

Atlantic Self Storage, which operates more than 50 facilities in Florida, has launched a donation drive to collect nonperishable foods for Farm Share, a nonprofit dedicated to alleviating hunger in the state. The company will accept contributions during business hours at its facilities in Jacksonville and Saint Augustine through October 31, according to a press release.

Requested items include canned goods, pasta, rice, cereal, peanut butter and other staples. Farm Share distributes them to individuals, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, churches and other organizations that serve those in need.

“We are thrilled to join forces with Farm Share in the fight against hunger,” said Mark Skrzypczak, director of operations for Atlantic. “By collecting nonperishable items at our locations, we hope to make a significant impact on the lives of individuals and families facing food insecurity in Florida. We invite our neighbors and customers to participate in this important effort. Every contribution, no matter how small, helps ensure that Farm Share can continue its vital work of feeding the hungry in our state.”

Atlantic is a family-owned company with more than 40 years in the self-storage industry. Its portfolio comprises nearly 6 million rentable square feet.
