Amy’s Attic Self Storage, which operates nine facilities in Texas, hosted its seventh “Fall (Food Truck) Festival” on Oct. 23 to benefit the Salado Volunteer Fire Department. The free event at 3524 FM 2484 Salado featured 60 food trucks and vendors, a children’s costume contest, fire trucks, inflatables, and other entertainment.

In addition to being held outside, the affair included other pandemic-safety measures. Vendor booths were socially distanced, and handwashing and sanitation stations were provided.

Through its “Amy in the Community” program, Amy’s Attic sponsors many events and fundraisers annually. Proceeds have been donated to the Belton Educational Enrichment Foundation, Foster Love, Habitat for Humanity, Families in Crisis Inc., local schools and more.

Founded in 2004, Amy’s Attic operates facilities in Belton, Copperas Cove, Harker Heights, Killeen, Morgan’s Point Resort, Salado and Temple, Temple Marlandwood and Waco, Texas.
