Storage Asset Management (SAM), a provider of third-party management to the self-storage industry, has been named one of the “Fastest Growing Companies” in 2023 by the “Central Penn Business Journal,” a source for business news and information in Central Pennsylvania. The winner rankings will be announced at a Sept. 12 event at the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey Hotel. The companies will also be featured in the journal’s Sept. 15 print issue and on its website, according to a press release.

The ranking formula, coordinated by SEK CPAs & Advisors, recognizes large and small companies headquartered in Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry or York Counties. The list ranks companies according to revenue growth over a three-year period, with dollar and percentage increases taken into consideration. Eligible companies must have revenue of at least $500,000 in each of the fiscal years ending in 2020, 2021 and 2022; and show revenue growth in 2022 compared to 2020.

“This year’s Fastest Growing Companies are dynamic businesses that know how to create financial growth, which includes a happy and healthy workforce,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, managing director of “Central Penn Business Journal” and BridgeTower Media. “We at the ‘Central Penn Business Journal’ are proud to recognize these businesses that are growing in Central Pennsylvania.”

Founded in 2010 by Alyssa Quill and Jay Hoke, SAM employs more than 875 people at its store, regional and corporate office level. It’s based in York, Pennsylvania.
