Safeguard Self Storage, which operates more than 80 facilities in six states, received an “800 Award” from Reputation, a reputation-management software platform that helps companies solicit, monitor and respond to consumer feedback. The honor is given to organizations that go above and beyond in delivering on brand promise by listening to and acting on comments from their customers, according to a press release.

To determine award winners, Reputation uses a proprietary tool to measure review sentiment, volume, spread, recency, response and length, along with brand reach and health, social engagement, business-listing accuracy, and search impressions. Candidates must achieve a score of 800 or higher for their focus on high customer satisfaction throughout the year, the release stated.

“At Safeguard Self Storage, we are honored to receive the Reputation 800 Award. This recognition underscores our steadfast dedication to customer satisfaction and reflects the hard work and commitment of our team members across all our locations,” said Safeguard Chief Operating Officer Ken Finlay.

“In a world where consumers are making purchasing decisions based on what they see and hear in their local communities and online, delivering on-brand performance is more important than ever. Safeguard Self Storage has demonstrated its commitment to evolving alongside its customers by prioritizing their needs and taking action based on what they are saying across online reviews, rating pages and on social media,” said Liz Carter, chief marketing officer for Reputation. “On behalf of Reputation, I extend an enthusiastic congratulations to Safeguard Self Storage for its commitment to understanding consumer feedback and acting on it across its locations.”

Founded in 1989 and headquartered in Atlanta, Safeguard operates self-storage facilities in Florida, Illinois, Louisiana, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. The company is owned and operated by Morgan Stanley’s Prime Property Fund.

The Reputation platform streamlines management of online and local reputation performance, including listings and local search, reviews, social media, and surveys. It’s backed by Bessemer Ventures, Kleiner Perkins and Marlin Equity Partners.
