Storage Atlantic, a self-storage facility at 1 PGA Blvd. in Bear, Del., recently completed the addition of two single-story buildings, expanding the property by 17,100 square feet of storage space and 172 units. Each unit includes its own fire-prevention sprinkler head to meet a state code requirement, according to a press release by Investment Real Estate Construction LLC, the company that built the expansion.

Bear is an up-and-coming suburb of Newark and Wilmington, Del. Storage Atlantic is near Pulaski Highway (U.S. Route 40), in the commercial center of the community.
Investment Real Estate Construction is a branch of York, Pa.-based Investment Real Estate LLC, a property-management and consulting firm specializing in the self-storage industry. Since its inception in 1998, the company has provided brokerage, construction, development and management services to facility owners and investors.
