Find Local Storage (FLS), a consortium of more than 20 self-storage owners who operate an online facility directory, has hired Holly Ritchie-Fiorello as director of business development. She’ll be responsible for driving business expansion and new product development as well as helping the company continue to identify and connect with its partners to increase member revenue and profit on its platform.

"FLS has had incredible growth as key industry leaders join us in the search for more affordable lead generation," said Michael Haugh, president of Absolute Storage Management (ASM), a property-management firm and FLS member. "As the demand for third-party aggregator independence increases, we think there are continued opportunities for new partnerships to leverage the collaborative power of our owner-operated platform. We are delighted to welcome Holly to our team to help us better identify and pursue these new opportunities."

Ritchie-Fiorello most recently served as vice president of marketing and customer success at The Storage Group, a website development and marketing agency, where she worked for nearly four years. She’s also been a guest speaker at industry events, covering all aspects of the digital landscape for self-storage operators. In April, she participated as a speaker at the Inside Self-Storage World Expo in Las Vegas, where she presented a seminar titled, “5 Must-Have Features for Your Self-Storage Website.”

"FLS has a strong reputation as a company that empowers self-storage owners," she said. "I am honored to be a part of this company. I believe my unique background will help FLS expand its opportunities in the market, and I look forward to playing a role in its continued growth."

Launched in 2013, FLS offers a lead-generation platform that creates rental opportunities and improves marketing efforts for participating self-storage operators, according to a company press release.

Founded in 2002, ASM owns and manages 90 self-storage facilities throughout the Southeast. Headquartered in Memphis, Tenn., it has regional offices in Atlanta; Charlotte, N.C.; and Jackson, Miss.
