The Inside Self-Storage (ISS) Store, an e-commerce website providing research and education products for industry professionals, has released the “Self-Storage Manager Compensation 2015: Comprehensive Survey Report Package,” which includes a 69-page data report and a 15-page booklet focused on compensation and related topics. The data used in the report was collected from the “2015 Self-Storage Manager Compensation Survey,” which ISS launched last year to create industry benchmarks related to facility-manager salaries, wages, benefits and other incentives.

The data report, “Self-Storage Manager Compensation Survey 2015: Sample, Method, Findings and Analysis,” recaps the survey in its entirety, presenting the results and findings. The PDF publication offers detailed observations and analysis based on the survey’s total sample of nearly 500 facility managers. In addition to overviews of manager demographics, employment characteristics and facility-profile information, the report examines the types of benefits managers receive as part of their employment packages and breaks out salaries and wages in 12 categories. It also measures manager job satisfaction by gender, employment status and residency status.

The package also includes “Talking Over the Taboo Topic: Self-Storage Manager Compensation,” a digital booklet featuring interviews with facility managers, district managers, owners and industry experts. The in-depth article includes operator insight to the multi-faceted nature of a facility manager’s job duties, industry attitudes toward fair wages, and various factors to compensation.

Offered exclusively through the ISS Store, the digital reports are packaged in a downloadable zip file. The price is $159. Detailed information about the package contents can be found in the “Reports & Business Tools” section of the ISS Store or viewed in a free slideshow presentation, “Self-Storage Manager Compensation 2015: A Sneak Peek at the Survey-Results Report Package,” available on the ISS website.

Conceived as a central hub that allows self-storage owners, operators, developers and investors to obtain cutting-edge information and resources, the ISS Store is owned and operated by ISS, a dynamic services provider that has served the self-storage industry for 25 years. The brand includes ISS magazine, the ISS Expo and Self-Storage Talk, the industry’s largest online community.
