Man Found Dead at Houston Self-Storage Facility

The body of a man was found inside a Houston self-storage unit on Tuesday. Police were called to the CubeSmart facility at 6300 Washington Ave. around 2 a.m. for a welfare check, the sources reported. It is unclear why.

The man was pronounced dead shortly after officers arrived. The investigation is ongoing, and the medical examiner's officer will determine the cause of death.     

CubeSmart owns or manages 1,279 self-storage facilities across the United States. Its operating portfolio comprises 88.6 million square feet.
