Nigel Kreft is the director of continuous improvement at Elevate Structures, which provides pre-engineered metal and structural-steel buildings for governmental agencies and Fortune 500 companies. With more than 25 years of field and business experience, Nigel heads research and development for the company and oversees continuous improvement for construction and business best practices. He’s presented at several national self-storage events, sharing his insights with the industry.

ABOUT THE PANELISTS:

Jesse Morgan is senior vice president of Premier Storage Investors, where he’s worked since 2019. Jesse leads the company’s procurement efforts, overseeing all property acquisitions and development sites. Before joining the firm, he was an investment associate for EDENS, the country’s largest private shopping-center real estate investment trust (REIT), where he focused on acquisitions, asset management and development in Florida. He previously served as an investment analyst at Jernigan Capital, a public self-storage mortgage REIT that was sold to NexPoint in 2020. Jesse received his bachelor's in economics from Vanderbilt University and his MBA from the University of Miami.

Robin Murphy is the owner and senior principal of Jackson | Main Architecture, an award-winning architectural firm with extensive experience in designing self-storage facilities across rural, suburban and dense-urban areas. A highly skilled and knowledgeable architect with more than two decades of industry experience, Robin is licensed in 19 states and provinces. He’s a LEED-accredited professional with expertise in sustainable design practices, a member of the American Institute of Architects, and a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.

Rusty Stewart leads the self-storage division for JMW Contractors, where he works with developers on site selection and preliminary budgeting through project construction. Rusty focuses on cost-effectiveness while ensuring facility functionality. With more than 20 years of experience across a wide range of roles and projects in multiple market sectors, he’s been involved in building more 90 storage facilities. He’s s a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a degree in building and construction management.
